Google, Yahoo and Bing all had great presentations in late 2009 regarding the state of search for 2010 (giving us a peak into what they planned on launching). We've seen SO much happen this year with both improvements and new features related to display advertising across all the major engines. We've also seen some great software come out that is geared towards setting up and optimizing display network accounts and we've seen the launch of new ad networks like Simpli.fi this year.

I'm even more excited about 2011. I think Google finally realized how valuable the display network is to their advertisers and I'm seeing hints of even more features and changes in the near future. I'm also working with several software teams who will be launching even more tools in 2011 to make life easier and more profitable for the display advertiser.

Hi Shelley,
I look forward to your post after your show.
Will Google content network be the place to advertise in 2011? How do you see content markets shifting with Demand, Associated Content and AOL's Seed compared to traditional publishers?

Hi Shelly -

I followed you at twitter not long ago, with the hope that I might catch an interesting, content-related tweet in my time line.

That's because the majority of advertising I do with Ad Words takes place in the Search network, and I'm interested in making the leap over to placement targeting. Just waiting for the right kind of hook-in.

I'll look forward to reading more of your posts.

Oh, and ... I love hot air balloons!

Thanks,
Megan
